What is the statistical correlation between a state's average summer temperature and its record bass weight?

This graph shows the average weight of bass that were caught in average temperatures Below and above 70 Degrees. Bass have a greater need for food when the temperatures are higher allowing them to grow bigger due to their appetite.

There are only 10 out of the 51 lakes that are natural, Most lakes and reservoirs that produce these large bass are man made body’s of water.

How often the records are broken to analyze which states produce the largest quantity of larger fish?

The top 3 states That have had their record broken the most as well as the top 3 state that have held their record the longest, California, Florida and Wisconsin have had their record broken the most while Georgia Michigan and Massachusetts have held their record the longest. Patterns in habitats and see what habitats are most common in these lakes

The top 3 most common Habitats for bass to live in are classified as Woody

such as underwater logs and trees, Rocky points and Muddy bottoms. It Is more common to find larger quantity and heavier fish near woody structures rather than muddy or rocky.

Is there a statistically significant difference between the record bass weights in states that primarily stock Florida-strain largemouth bass versus native northern-strain largemouth bass.

Research all the states determining whether they stock their lakes with Florida or Northern strain and the results found The average weight of bass was higher in states that stocked their lakes with Florida strain.

If states that have wildlife departments that stock Largemouth bass produce larger fish than states that do not stock their lakes.

Alaska and Hawaii are the only states that do not stock largemouth bass for fishing. Alaska does not have the right living conditions for largemouth to live in. As for Hawaii largemouth are not native but have been stocked in the past and have grown their population so they no longer stock this species.

This graph shows the weight of the bass by weather they were caught in water under 25 feet or 25 feet and over.  Bass caught in body’s of water with an average depth of 25 feet or more produced greater weights with the 2 largest fish recorded being caught in body’s of water
